FAQ

We are currently supporting offline signups only. Please provide your details as part of the sign up form or email us. Our technical team will get in touch with you to activate the platform. Our platform and the standard catalogs will be operational in less than 48 hours after getting the necessary infrastructure.

The platform comes with an open source automation stack (Ansible, Terraform, Camunda, Stackstorm) that we leverage for automation. These should cover most of your requirements and you don’t need to invest in any additional tools. Our philosophy is you need an outcome and shouldn’t have to worry about the underlying complexities. We have build the platform as a complete package that can deliver services end-end for you and we enable this on a open source automation stack.

Incase you have already invested in few automation tools we can leverage those for delivering services and you will continue to pay license fees for those. However as stated above these are not mandatory for using our platform.

DigitalXC Service cloud is a service marketplace (Appstore equivalent in the Enterprise world). DigitalXC and its partners will be creating and populating additional automations and catalogs on an ongoing basis. We will be notifying you of these new catalogs on an ongoing bases and they are available for your use.

Our service designer can help you assemble new service catalogs easily through a drag and drop UI using existing service brics. If you need help you can reach out to our support team for guidance. Incase the required service brics are not available you can place a request for a service bric in our marketplace and DigitalXC or one of its partners can create it for you.

Currently there are no restrictions on platform features and all features are open to you.

In terms of catalogs – All catalogs are open for pay-as-you-go plans. For fixed plans all standard services/catalogs are open and available at no additional cost – These should constitute around 80-90% of your enterprise requirements. There are premium catalogs in the platform that are high value catalogs catering to complex needs.

These will be charged additional and not covered in the fixed cost plans. These costs will be clearly listed and will be identified as not covered in your plan, if you decide to use them you will be charged based on usage for these services alone.

Pay-as-you-go plan: No, there are no restrictions on the number of users. You are charged only on number of orders

Fixed cost plans: You will be charged based on number of users accessing/using our platform.

Pay-as-you-go plan: Order volume will vary based on your usage pattern, peak season etc. and you will be billed on the actual usage. You have an option of shifting from ’Pay-as-you-go’ to a fixed cost plan anytime.
Fixed cost plan: Your order volume does not affect your billing.

Yes. You can create new catalogs as needed using our service designer. These catalogs can be maintained as enterprise specific private catalogs in the catalog store

For standard catalogs that are reusable across customers (ex:O365, AWS, Azure, Windows, etc) there are no additional charges. If you need a custom catalog very specific to your Enterprise (Ex: for your home grown app or some niche enterprise specific platform) with very minimal reuse across external customers you will be charged for the catalog creation. The charge may vary based on your requirement and it will be shared with you and we will create the catalog on getting your approval.

You are free to use any catalogs up to 50 orders per month. You get all the features of the platform absolutely free.

Pay-as-you-go plans: Post-paid – You will be charged at the end of each calendar month based on usage. Net30 payment term. Taxes & duties extra.

Fixed-cost plans: Pre-paid – you will be charged at the beginning of the month – either monthly or annually based on the option you choose. Net30 payment term. Taxes and duties extra.

Bills will be sent to the authorized point of contact for the organization.

There are no platform specific one-time charges. Incase you need any help with Service components like implementation or custom catalog creation or advisory/change management services these will incur additional charges. DigitalXC or one of its partners will work with you to understand your requirement, provide an estimate and commence work based on your confirmation.

Additional charges will be incurred for the following:

  • For developing any custom catalogs/automated workflows specific to your Enterprise
  • Dedicated instance for your Enterprise
  • Taxes and Duties

Pay-as-you-go plans: Monthly billing at the end of each month Fixed cost plans: Monthly or Annual billing based on your choice at the beginning of the contract term.

Currently we support offline billing only and requests will be mailed to your designated billing contact in your Enterprise and mode of payment will be wire xfers or online payments.

There are zero cancellation charges. For fixed cost plans if you cancel mid-term through the subscription your charges will be calculated as monthly plan charges till whichever month you cancel (rounded off to the next whole month – 6.3months will be considered as 7 months) and the remaining will be refunded.

Example: If you paid an annual plan for 100 users (Total paid = $3300) and canceled 4.5 months after signing up for the deal. You will get a refund of $1800 ($3300 – $1500 ($300/month *5 months).

We don’t have any restrictions on switching between plans. You are free to move between plans anytime.
